Some of the research work carried out by Dr. Paul are

• Developed Mouth-stick Appliance for paralyzed patients (First in India and fifth in the world).
  
• Indigenous development of closed field magnetic systems (Meenakshi Miniature Magnetic System) for implant-supported dentures and cranio-facial prosthesis, for the first time in India.
  
• Indigenous development of materials and new techniques for Maxillo-facial prosthesis.
  
• Indigenous development of materials and methods for Denture Identification for Forensic Odontology.
